Mystic monkey business!

Fans of Paul the Octopus left feeling bereft by the octopod's death will be thrilled to learn of his successor - a tiny Tamarin monkey.

Jack, a cotton-top Tamarin and resident of the Blue Reef Aquarium in North Tyneside, has revealed his psychic reading side by correctly predicting results in the current Ashes cricket tour.

The miniscule monkey makes his predictions by choosing from two bowls of food, one for England and one for Australia. And if he turns his nose up at both bowls, a draw is in the offing.

Having got the results of both the first two matches right, Jack looks set to become the next big psychic animal star. Watch this space...

According to reports, Coleen invited white witch Janet Whitfield to attend the couple’s Halloween party, and read their tarot cards for them. Janet herself said, “I was invited to the Rooneys’ party at their house just to mingle around and give readings for the guests. It was just family that had been invited.”
