If you have not heard from a friend recently, the Moon and its angle to Mercury early on, and Uranus later this evening, encourages you to pick up the baton and give them a call. Then again, you may bump into someone on a night out that you haven't seen for some time, and it can be great to chat, laugh and catch up on one another's developments.

You may be thinking and speaking in riddles which could have everyone confused. Whatever you are involved in, you are ahead of the game and others will have a hard time catching up with you. Word games and subtle innuendos could cause even more mayhem. At some point you are going to have to spell it out and let others in on the good news and the sooner the better!

About Virgo Horoscopes

Virgo is an astrological sign which originated from the constellation Virgo, and is the sixth sign of the zodiac. Virgo is classed as a Negative or feminine, introverted sign; its element is Earth and its Quality is Mutable which influences virgo horoscopes. Traditionally in astrology Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury. The opposite sign to Virgo is Pisces. Under the tropical zodiac, Virgo is occupied by the Sun from August 23 to September 22, and under the sidereal zodiac, it is currently from September 17 to October 17. Virgo is the only zodiacal sign represented by a female affecting virgo horoscopes. The Leo/Virgo Cusp dates is between August 19 to August 23. Virgo/Libra Cusp dates September 19 to September 23 this can make a big difference to virgo horoscopes. See Cusp (astrology) in information. The Indian equivalent of Virgo is Kanya. The Chinese equivalent is thought to be the zealous, meticulous Rooster, whose lunar month is 8 September - 7 October. Virgos are thought to be compatible with Taurus and Capricorn. When they come into contact with these signs there can be action in the love sector of virgo horoscopes.

According to one interpretation[citation needed], the Virgo constellation depicts Astraea, the virgin daughter of the god Zeus and the goddess Themis. Astraea was known as the goddess of justice, and was identified as this constellation due to the presence of the scales of justice (Libra) nearby, and supposedly ruled the world with her wise ways until mankind became so callous that she returned to the skies, disgusted. Virgo is also identified with Persephone, daughter of Demeter (goddess of agriculture and guardian of marriage). Persephone was the goddess of innocence and purity, then later on became the Queen of the Underworld, when she was abruptly snatched away by Hades.

The astrological symbol of Virgo is said to represent the arms and torso of the virgin holding a sheaf of wheat which is sometimes symbolised by virgo horoscopes.

Astrologers broadly agree that the following are the characteristics of Virgo: The Virgo person is dedicated, devoted, nurturing, quiet, uninhibited, sacrificial, considerate, proud, shrewd, critically inclined, judicious, patient, objective, logical, meticulous, reliable, practical, diligent, intelligent and analytical, industrious, loyal, efficient, thorough, methodical, critical, pragmatic, modest, discreet, health- and cleanliness-conscious, mentally active, and flexible, romantic. The Virgo is also prone to being overly-proud, fussy, nervous, pedantic, petty, self-conscious, harsh, paranoid, scared of being sick, aloof, calculating, hard edged, overly critical, judgmental, pretentious, snobby, timid, compulsive, folds under pressure, perfectionistic, stubborn, conservative, and overly romantic. All of these characteristics influence Virgo horoscopes.

Suitable occupations are those in which analytical and practical, methodical qualities are needed, such as doctor, teacher, psychologist, nurse, hygienist, scientist, accountant, secretary, and inspector. These professions are sometimes depicted in career orientated horoscopes. In medical astrology, Virgo governs the intestines and digestion, also spleen and nervous system.

Astrology - Virgo Horoscopes

Astrology is a group of beliefs about how the position of the planets impact on what we get up to on earth and how we are as people. A common assumption is that how the planets are placed can explain past, present and future events.

Most astrologers these days don't try to predict the future but instead look to the skies to reflect trends and developments. You'll probably be most familiar with Western and Chinese astrology; the first focuses on the casting of an astrological chart for an event based on the position of the Sun, Moon and planets, while Chinese astrology is all about the celestial equator. However, both have 12 signs and accordingly dictate who you are, what you're about and virgo horoscopes. It's different to astronomy which is the study of objects and phenomena beyond the Earth's atmosphere although the two disciplines used to be confused.
