As you may know, Kooma offers credit card customers a freephone access number.
What you may not know is that if you are dialling this number from your mobile phone, your network operator is still charging you for the 0800 call – up to 20p per minute! This is true for all freephone numbers in the UK which are only actually 'free' when called from landline phones.
In order to get around this, Kooma offers our credit card customers the use of a Local Number. This works because mobile calls to local numbers are billed at your standard rate – usually around 10p. This fact is especially helpful to those of you with Monthly Contracts (as opposed to Pay-As-You-Go) because these almost always include generous Call Plans with loads of free minutes to standard numbers.
