What can I expect from my reading with you?
You can expect intuitive analysis of present situations. I steer away from labels to describe how I work, because it varies and therefore could be misleading. The motive is to help you gain more clarity, joy, inner strength and understanding. I trust that what we “need” to know will come up and it’s usually unnecessary to dig into another’s psyche to get the answers you most require for growth. The answers are in you, not someone else’s mind or heart.
Describe your journey into the psychic world
Describe your journey into the psychic world - The term “psychic” does not naturally sit well with me, but my interest in spiritual matters has been a part of me for as long as I remember. It began to take shape more in my teens when I found tarot cards and discovered that they seem to “work”! I find the oracular arts fascinating; to the point where my eyes still water with excitement and I still get goose pimples when “spooky” coincidences and phenomena occur. I have an enquiring and analytical mind, which has sometimes deepened and other times hindered my foray into this world. I hope I am getting the balance now!
What prompted you to start giving readings?
I bought a pack of Mythic Tarot from a shop in south London when I was a teenager and have given readings ever since. I loved the book that came with these cards and still like the designs. The fact I felt naturally attuned to the pack I bought helped me keep up the learning, I believe. It was an organic process. They have been a key to developing my intuitive functions.
What are your experience and qualifications?
I taught myself to use tarot, then joined a beginners’ then an advanced tarot course with a wonderful and experienced tarot and astrology teacher. After that, I attended a monthly tarot workshop led by the same teacher, till I moved away. My seeking of spiritual knowledge and healing is ongoing and has positively affected my lifestyle and approach to working intuitively. I also love using rune stones and have used them with the help of Ralph Blum’s book for several years.
What is your most memorable psychic experience?
I have had many spiritual experiences that have given me food for thought, fear, hope and inspiration. All are personal and meaningful and may be prophetic or lucid dreams, clear visions that make me sit bolt upright when I am half asleep, out-of-body experiences, synchronicity that has blown my mind, seeing light flashes and forms often; hearing a prompt or piece of info “in my head” that then happens physically or is confirmed verbatim by a person whilst my jaw drops. Meeting people of import in dreams and talking to them a lot of it is lucid in my dream time!
Why do you give readings through this service?
I want to be of service to others as part of what I do. I am naturally inclined to give readings – it’s like I couldn’t get away from it if I tried! It suits me to work this way and I find that telephone readings can be most effective. I live quite a bubbly and creative life, but feel at a loss if I am not somehow working in a “helping” capacity. Working through this service manages to keep me in place – it balances my nature and (hopefully) helps others – even if it is for one moment in time. We are at a time of massive change and everyone sensitive is feeling it! I feel compelled to do this work because it comes naturally. I hope to help like-minded people along the way to exciting new growth and change over the next few years and to share my own learning and deep experiences with others. We are all learning to heed our own Selves – to connect more with our inner “light”. The part of us that has all the answers we will ever need. This service is a part of that process towards self-reliance and knowledge in years and generations to come. Even the most wise and together person needs a person to bounce it.
How do you use the tarot cards as a spiritual tool?
I draw partly on the established and sacred meanings of the cards, which are varied in themselves. Then the layout of the cards can give valuable “snapshots” of someone’s energy and emotions, or maybe even deeper soul patterns or challenges they are here to conquer/resolve – and these often take place through our relationships. I like to get into the unconscious core of what is motivating (if appropriate), more than digging into how their love interest is doing, feeling or thinking. When we mindfully change ourselves or understand our own selves better, we can then attract a new behaviour from others.
