Describe your journey into the psychic world
As a child I failed to understand that other people were not empathic as I was and that they not hear voices - particularly of animals - in their head. As I grew up, I adapted to the realisation by using the information I gleaned, but never mentioning how I acquired it; some of my friends knew I 'must be psychic' and I never denied it, but refused to be drawn into 'proving it' as this served no helpful purpose and gave a wrong impression of what I could do I did admit to my ability to do hands–on healing, as this never caused people to challenge what I did, they felt the effect instead. I learned and started using Reiki so that I could learn more about healing and talk to people about it in terms they understood.
What prompted you to start giving readings?
In 2003 I did a course to learn how to use body language to establish a relationship with horses. Another student told me she wanted to learn more about 'animal communication' which I had previously never heard of as a term (I had not lived in UK for ten years). I told her that I had been doing it all my life, yet hadn't realised that it was something that people accepted and found useful. It was this friend, who later in the year persuaded me to do some readings as a charity fund raiser, from the charity animal communication readings, people started to ask for readings for their pets and also for themselves.
What are your experience and qualifications?
Seventeen years Reiki healer. Eight years of that time, working as an animal communicator, medium and Tarot reader. Six years of that time at Mind Body Spirit Fairs. Three years readings for Psychic Switchboard. Qualifications: Reiki Master.
What is your most memorable psychic experience?
Getting through to my mother thirteen years after she died. She apologised and explained that just as when she was alive she didn't think you could talk to the 'dead'; since she had died, she didn't believe you could talk to the 'living'. My grandmother had patiently been trying to get her to believe and eventually made the breakthrough.

How do you use the tarot cards as a spiritual tool?
In a face–to–face reading I would deal twelve cards in groups of four. First group to interpret the past events relevant to the person's need, second where they are now and third where they should be going. In a telephone reading, I draw cards individually from the deck relevant to the caller to indicate the significant people and events from the past, present and future. As I draw each card, I interpret it and discuss its relevance with the caller.
How do you interpret the tarot cards to focus on love?
Entirely depending on the person and their situation.
How do the spirits show themselves to you?
If the person hasn't mentioned an individual, I may hear a voice from a person in sprit or see an image of them with a mannerism I can describe. I communicate what I have received and the person may recognise the spirit, if not the spirit will give me more information until they do. It the person has mentioned with whom they wish to communicate, then that individual will normally either give me a visual picture to describe, or more usually a message that I pass on. On rare occasions, I might get something different like a room filled with flowers or a fragrance or an outdoor scene. What ever impression I get, I convey to the person.
How do your visions manifest themselves?
Usually like watching a video that is slightly to the left of my peripheral vision on the left hand side of my head.
How does spiritual healing flow through you?
If it is remote, I don't 'feel' it but I sense when it starts and stops. If it is hands-on, my hands feel clamped, like a magnet in place, not necessarily on the individual, it can be just above, but they feel like lead and won't move. Sometimes, if the individual draws lots of energy very quickly my hands get hot. I measure chakra energies by 'sensing' a ball of energy between two facing palms - a healthy energy level is palms about body width apart.
What is the importance of spirituality in your life and how do you convey it in your readings?
It is important to realise we are a spirit inhabiting a physical body, this should, therefore govern our life. If we neglect to nurture the spirit we will not be able to experience the utmost within our physical self. If we look to material needs first and foremost, our spirit can only ultimately find discontent. The easiest way to feed our spirit is through positive thought. In readings, I find the thing that seems to occur often is a person's negative view of a situation or person or sometimes anger at the person or themselves that they let an event occur. Helping the person see that they can change this or have it in their ability to take back control, just by changing their way of looking at themselves, a third party or situation is for them, very empowering.
Why are angel cards special to you?
They aren't I don't use spirit guides, I have studied Jungian psychology and I do use archetypes when they are helpful to people. I have used cards depicting elementals, which are another way of expressing the same archetypes as 'angels', but they offer a broader range of experiences and insights.
What makes you a typical of your star sign?
I combine all the best attributes of all the others, though I often am too sensitive to recognise that fact myself!
