Stones To Energise You

Stones To Energise You

Feeling in need of a pick-me-up as autumn creeps in? Try bringing yellow topaz and citrine into your life. These two stones are understood to be wonderful energizers, carrying the sun’s energy to ward of those cold-weather blues.

With citrine’s stunning bright colour, it’s not surprising that this stone is strongly associated with the sun. The “success stone” is said to promote prosperity and abundance, perfect for the run up to Christmas when both finances and energy levels can be running a little low. On the emotional side, it encourages positive feelings, helping to warding off negativity and depressive, self-destructive behaviours. And is if that isn’t enough, it has also been suggested that citrine can heighten sensuality and sexuality.

Yellow Topaz was hailed by ancient civilizations as symbolising the joys of life. During the Middle Ages the stone was thought to heal both physical and mental disorders, whilst the Greeks believed it had the power to increase strength. It is also said to aid a restful night’s sleep, perfect for seeing us through the dark nights ahead.
