If you're visiting Florida, you may want to visit Cassadaga.

It's a spiritualist community that's over a hundred years old and was founded in 1875 by George Colby from New York after being told during a séance that he would someday be instrumental in founding a Spiritualist community.
He was ill with TB when he arrived in Cassadaga and according to rumours, it was a small spring located on his homestead that healed him.

Cassadaga was originally intended to be a winter home for spiritualists from the north but over the years more and more mediums came to set up residence there.
